THE HYBRIS share a new release “Celebrate The Good Times,” a lively and sharply written single that hides a darker message beneath its cheerful surface. The track takes aim at the establishment, privilege and the growing sense of frustration surrounding modern life, but it delivers those ideas with amazing energy rather than a heavy mood.
The song is about pushing back against the feeling that ordinary people should simply accept the negativity around them. The artists twist that frustration into an ironic celebration, using bright melodies and catchy hooks to make the message impossible to ignore. It is catchy, rebellious and refreshingly unpredictable from beginning to end.
