Castells deliver their latest single, “Mr. Problematic,” a lively track built around a character who seems unable to stay away from trouble. The song follows this problematic figure as his habit of causing arguments and picking fights eventually pushes him towards an early demise. Interestingly, the dark story is matched with music that feels anything but gloomy. Castells turn the subject into a fun and energetic experience, using energetic pop hooks, guitar variations, and a driving rhythm that keeps the track moving. The band also shows a strong ability to blend two worlds without making either feel out of place.
